The pace of the film kept the viewer off balance but had a huge pay off as the ending. Upon initial viewing my thought was it was Nietzsche's "Beyond Good and Evil" brought to the screen with the appeal of a "standard" action film. The film is sparse in needless dialog and gets right into from the opening scene. I thought the acting was excellent in that a great deal is conveyed with very little said. Another appealing factor is the audience is forced to question who is the good guy, who is the bad guy? Do these labels even apply in a film like this? Very clever writing, especially with the ending. Hopefully everyone will "get it". I noticed in the credits this is J. Mierau's first foray into serious film making and should be applauded for his creation; it looks like a big budget feature. My only wish is that it was a full length feature.
