X-Factor may be a part of Fox’s future, minus any singing and plus lotsa mutants.
Fox entertainment chairman Gary Newman confirms for TV Insider (aka TV Guide Magazine‘s new website) that the network is developing an X-Men TV series — no easy feat, given that while 20th Century Fox has film rights to the specially abled characters, any live-action TV project requires the blessing of Marvel, which is based out of ABC parent Disney.
“We’re cautiously optimistic, we had a good meeting with them,” Newman told the site, noting that any possible X-Men show “will not be on a fast track creatively.

It’s not exactly Nicki Minaj vs. Mariah Carey 2.0, but Week 3 of American Idol‘s Season 14 auditions generates a whole lotta discord on this week’s Reality Check.
While my co-host Melinda Doolittle and I agree that the soulful Jelly Joseph was a standout in New Orleans, our paths diverge rather sharply after that. She compares one of my faves to a popular Muppets character, while I’m still wondering how one of her top picks made it past Round 1.

You’re insecure? The residents and servants of Downton Abbey don’t know what for — you’re turning heads when you walk through their (elaborately designed) do-o-or!
Need even more reassurance? Just watch mashup artist Richard Sandling’s awesome new video, which features Matthew, Mary, Bates, Anna, and even the Dowager Countess herself “singing” One Direction’s romantic/insidious hit “What Makes You Beautiful.” Though some of the clips repeat after the first chorus, you’ll want to watch all the way to the end anyway — especially to see how Sandling handles the “na-na-na-na” part.

The Following wasn't included on my list of TV's 10 Most Promising New Fall Shows because it premieres on January 21 -- but now that we've gotten closer to the Dia de los Muertos, Fox has unleashed two new promos. One suitable for all ages, the other drenched in blood, and therefore for elder eyes only.

But trust me, the wait will be more than worth it because warped mastermind Kevin Williamson has created a terrifying new world for actors James Purefoy and Kevin Bacon, who impressively bring the whole endeavor to nail-biting life.

Actress Elina Madison knows a good scream when she hears one. She's a queen of modern day horror flicks and has appeared in such classics as Curse of the Forty-Niner (2002), Creepshow III (2006), Petrified (2006) and a film she co-produced and starred in called Corporate Cut Throat Massacre (2009). In addition to her penchant for peril, Elina has appeared in various other projects in both television and film. She worked with director David Lynch in the 2001 psychological thriller Mulholland Drive (2001) and with Tom Hanks in the comedy/drama/musical hit That Thing You Do (1996). As a co-star in the award winning feature film Barracuda and the lead heroin (Minty) in the drama Minty: The Assassin (2009), Elina has also taken the plunge into the deep character-driven waters of independent films. Essentially, this versatile actress has played everything from an abused housewife to a sexy meter-maid and is thoroughly enjoying the diversity of a multi-genre'd career.

Oh Ke$ha and your devil-may-care ways! What will you do next?! Unfortunately the internet has the answer: something gross. Is she walking the red carpet one more time with a mannequin head? Is she once again feeling like P. Diddy? Is she still brushing her teeth with a bottle of Jack? Nope, she is doing something even better! The glitter-loving, trash-wearing songstress was up to some wild antics yesterday when she pissed in the street and took a photo of it.
