- Facing a scheduling conflict, Vince, Eric and Ari must figure out how to keep the 'Aquaman' sequel afloat without upsetting the Oscar(R)-winning director of 'Medellin.' Paul Haggis. Ari has got Vince a meeting with the head of Warner Bros Alan Gray (Paul Ben-Victor), so that he can convince him to move the schedule of Aquaman 2 by 90 days, which will be enough time for Haggis to shoot Medellin. Dana Gordon (Constance Zimmer) also attends the meeting. Alan also hands over a $1 million check as a bonus to Vince, for the success of Aquaman. Vince offers to use the bonus money to pay for the expenses caused due to the 90 days delay.
Alan, the head of the studio, gives Vince 65 days to shoot Medellin. Ari sets up the meeting with Haggis. Paul Haggis tells Vince that to shoot in Colombia, he had to get permission from Government, the drug mafia, the FARC rebels & the local goons. Its impossible to move the schedule. Haggis says that the only way to shoot the movie in 65 days is to cut off some key scenes that have Vince in it.
Vince gets Drama, Turtle & E new Aston Martins (as he felt bad for giving away E's Maserati earlier). He also gets one of his radio friends Big Boy to play one of Saigon's tracks on the air. This would propel Turtle's career as a manager.
Ari finds that Max is planning to take Sarah on a boat trip. Ari hates Max. Sarah tells Ari that she going on a math club trip on a boat. Ari is alarmed that Sarah would lie to him to be with Max. Ari finds that a 24 week shoot in Kazakhastan is looking for a teen movie star. He pitches Max to the agent & gets Max's ass shipped out of USA to protect Sarah.
When Saigon's song finally blows up on radio (Turtle starts getting many calls asking to do a track deal with Saigon), Turtle requests a sit-down with Ari. Ari does it for Vince's sake. But now Drama is upset that he is the only one that Ari won't sit with (Drama says that he has been waiting to talk to Ari for 5 years). So, Ari asks Drama & Turtle to share the meeting. Turtle asks Ari to help him negotiate a track deal for Saigon, and in return Saigon will sign with Ari for his acting career. Ari agrees & starts working on a record label deal for Saigon. He gets calls from Atlantic Records and Sony. Saigon is set to get a deal.
Ari also tells Vince & E that James Cameron is not directing Aquaman 2. He only signed on for the first movie. Michael Bay is directing the second one. Even the script writer has been changed. Vince wants off Aquaman 2. But he has a contract & is forced to refuse Paul Haggis. Haggis agrees to reduce the shoot to 65 days to have Vince in the movie.
Vince meets Alan as a thank you for his generosity and the flexibility in schedule. Allan says that Vince cant do Medellin as he has a franchise to protect. This angers Vince and he asks for $20 MM for Aquaman 2.
