there is plenty of room for improvement

After watching the movie, I felt like it was directed by two people. Some scenes were really good but some scenes were just wasted. The movie is about an orphan who falls in love with the daughter of the local lord and tricked to join to first world war. While the story sounds very sane, the problem is the plot and directing. Everything was quite good before the scene where the Turkish infantry was trying to capture the British flag. In my whole life, I have never seen such a bad war scene. I guess they tried to make this tragic and heroic but it was so so bad. Technically, acting wise, scenery wise, this was the worst fighting scene I know. I think this is when they got bored or they run out of money. The first war scene was on the other hand, designed and filmed very good. Now, the question is, if you can shoot the first scene that good, how can you even dare to put this infantry scene. I didn't like the end as well. I felt like the whole project was a rush and at some point someone cut the budget. I am sorry but there is plenty of room for improvement...
