- [Virgil has left Alan to take care of Chip]
- Chip: I like Virgil. He told me all about Thunderbird 2.
- Alan Tracy: Oh he did, did he? Well he shouldn't have. Let me tell you, young fella, you'll get nothing out of me from Thunderbird 3.
- Chip: So *you're* the pilot of Thunderbird 3?
- Alan Tracy: [meekly, realizing his mistake] Yeah. I'm the pilot of Thunderbird 3.
- Scott Tracy: Look, Alan, I tell you - Father's really blowing his top.
- Alan Tracy: Well, don't look at me like that! Who showed him around Thunderbird 1? By the way, where's the kid now?
- Virgil Tracy: I don't know; don't ask me!
- Scott Tracy: What do you mean you "don't know"? Look, fellas, if that kid is roaming around the base on his own, Dad's going to go beserk! And let's face it, we've given away too much information already. Now let's start a search.
- Gordon Tracy: [whispering, to the other brothers] Psst! Hey, fellas? Just take a look at *this*!
- [Gordon peers into the lounge room and sees Chip sitting at Jeff's desk]
- Jeff Tracy: [talking to Chip] Of course, a rescue operation of that size takes quite a lot of organizing.
- Chip: [fascintated] And you control everything from here?
- Jeff Tracy: Yep, that's right. I control the whole works from here.
- [at this point, Scott, Virgil and Alan have joined Gordon in watching the conversation]
- Jeff Tracy: I've only got to push one of these buttons, and it's "Thunderbirds are go!" Yes, Chip, it's quite an organization.
- [after Scott explained the story of Fireflash's crash-landing]
- Chip: Wow, that must have been exciting! I could picture the whole thing!
- Scott Tracy: [stammering] You could? Uh... well, you just keep it to yourself, hey fella?
- Chip: Oh, of course. Now all that's left is Thunderbird 4. Gosh, I really am looking forward to seeing that!
- Scott Tracy: Hey, not so fast; you hold on, young fella! You've been told too much already. And it's no good looking disappointed - the answer is "No". Absolutely, definitely, "No"!
- [Chip later finds himself in Thunderbird 4 with Gordon]
- [Just after Thunderbird 2 backs into its hangar, a "Security Hazard" warning flashes behind Jeff's desk]
- Jeff Tracy: Virgil, hold everything! Don't release the pod! On no accounts release the pod!
- Alan Tracy: [to Virgil] What's up?
- Jeff Tracy: [to Gordon] Contact Scott. We'll all rendezvous in Thunderbird 2 hangar.
- Gordon Tracy: Yes, Father!
- [Jeff readies his gun]
- Virgil Tracy: [to Alan] Cut motors.
- Alan Tracy: [pulling a lever] Motors cut.
- [Thunderbird 2 starts to power down]
- Alan Tracy: All pumps down to zero. Inlet valves closed.
- [Thunderbird 2 continues powering down]
- Alan Tracy: Well, Virgil, what now?
- Virgil Tracy: Oh, we just have to sit tight.
- [last lines]
- Scott Tracy: Thunderbird 2 to base. Mission successfully completed. Security hazard negative.
