The title references a now-abolished NBA rule which allows three free throw attempts to make up to two points - i.e. if one of the players misses the first two attempts, a third attempt would be provided to make the second point. The rule was established in the 1954-55 season and abolished in the 1981-82 season. The title, of course, modifies the "two" to "tutu" as a reference to Tim (supposedly) taking Mark to the ballet.
