A fun episode as Ironside and Sulu (George Takei) go to Japan. Well, of course they don't really go to Japan, but in the story they do, so we get to seem some really cool footage of what Tokyo looked like in 1971! Compare it to modern Tokyo. Wow!
Great to see Takei, but Star Trek mania hadn't matured and he doesn't even get front of the show billing, like James Shigeta does.
Shigeta appeared with Raymond Burr on an episode of Perry Mason and appeared in hundreds of TV series, including two classic "Outer Limits" episodes.
This episode is also cool as it gives us a bit of Ironside backstory concerning his time as a soldier in World War II and being tortured.
