• Zyzzybalubah : [contacting Pee-wee via Picture Phone]  Earthling, listen to me. I speak to you from the furthest reaches of outer space.

  Pee-wee Herman : Hmm, good connection. You sound next door.

  Zyzzybalubah : Silence! You are under my power! My transport ray is aimed at your Playhouse, and in a moment, you will begin your journey to my planet.

  Pee-wee Herman : Let me get this straight: are you saying we're going into outer space?

  Zyzzybalubah : Duh!

  Pee-wee Herman : [emerging from the Picture Phone booth]  Transport ray, I'm so sure.

  [suddenly, the whole Playhouse is lifted off the ground and into space] 

• Zyzzybalubah : [enters the Playhouse]  Welcome. I am Zyzzybalubah.

  [everyone screams] 

  Zyzzybalubah : I'm so very flattered to have the secret word be my name. What an honor. You know, I've been watching you and your Playhouse for some time. You seem to have so much fun here. So much, I said to myself, Zyzzybalubah...

  [everyone screams] 

  Zyzzybalubah : As I was saying, I said to myself, wouldn't it be fun for *me* to have as much fun as you seem to have, so I brought you here to be my new friends. SO, LET'S HAVE FUN!

• Zyzzybalubah : [sits down on Chairry]  You're really comfortable, Chairry.

  Chairry : What a friendly thing to say. Thanks, Zyzzy.

  Zyzzybalubah : You're welcome.

  Pee-wee Herman : See? You're already making friends.

  Zyzzybalubah : You know, Pee-wee, I feel terrific. This is the start of something really big for me. I'm learning how to make friends. Can you all forgive me for the way I behaved?

  Pee-wee Herman : Of course, Zyzzybalubah.

  [everyone screams] 

• Pterri : I'm scared, Pee-wee. I've never been to outer space bfore.

  Magic Screen : Me neither, and I'm scared, too.

  Chairry : Yeah, Pee-wee. It's so dark out there. Where are we going anyway?

  Pee-wee Herman : I'm not really sure, Chairry. We're on our way to meet someone or something named zyzzybalubah.

  [everyone screams] 

• Zyzzybalubah : All right, my new friends. I'm ready for some more fun. Entertain me! Make me laugh!

  Reba : We don't feel like laughing, Zyzzybalubah.

  [everyone screams] 

  Zyzzybalubah : Well, that's not a very friendly attitude. You're no friends of mine!

  Pee-wee Herman : That's right, we're not.

  Zyzzybalubah : How dare you! I brought you here to be my new friends!

  Pee-wee Herman : Well, you got the wrong idea. Friends are people that you care about and who care about you. You brought us here without even asking us if we wanted to come! And you haven't exactly been treating us the way friends should be treated!

  Zyzzybalubah : You're right. I don't know how make friends. The reason I didn't ask you to come is because I knew you'd say no. Nobody likes me.
