DC Dashwood is placed under huge pressure, when one of his snouts, Hayes, claims that he has taken a bribe, an uncomfortable investigation begins.
It's nice to have Dashwood central to an episode again, he has literally felt like window dressing for a stretch, he needed a storyline such as this. It's a good episode, always interesting when an officer is placed under the cosh.
You are made to wonder if he's guilty or not, they've certainly put it about in recent times that he's better of than be should be, Toyota Celica, Armani suits etc.
Watch out for a fresh faced Ian Burfield, who's good as Hayes, be and Dashwood share some good scenes together.
