Jim Carver is placed in real danger when an obbo goes wrong after his partner Roach goes walkabout. Meanwhile Viv is in court, but tries to be too clever when questioned.
It's another very good episode, this series has been so incredibly strong and consistent, almost every single episode is original, gritty and offers up something different.
CID is in real trouble, when two of its members start playing up, Viv and Roach are both raising Burnside's blood pressure by breaking the rules.
It's so often the case that Ted Roach is seen as being somewhat of the anti hero, he's calamitous, he acts without thinking, but often gets the job done, here he lets Him Carver cop it.
A few chuckles, the best being the scene where Ted asks Burnside if he visits the gay bars in Amsterdam, that was humorous.
