Loxton pursues two violent thugs, and gets duffed up by two men, someone comes to his aid, but one of them ends up hospitalised, Loxton is left holding the truncheon.
Excellent I thought, this episode crammed in a huge amount into just 24 minutes, suspense, intrigue, and a real sense of rough justice.
I wonder if efforts were made here to make the viewers feel a little more sympathetic towards Loxton, he's been hard to like for quite some time, this is the first time I've felt a degree of sympathy towards him, particularly when Jack Meadows is on his case.
It made a nice change to see a human side of Bronwlow, feels like a first for a while.
Excellent, 9/10.
