Richard Potter and Matthew Stravitz have pre-emptively sold their original screenplay "Signals" to Media Rights Capital.
Although the logline is under wraps, the thriller is said to be in the vein of "Three Days of the Condor," Sydney Pollack's milestone of the 1970s paranoid-thriller era.
Potter and Stravitz played in the same genre sandbox when they scripted the in-development remake of the 1978 thriller "The Boys From Brazil" for director Brett Ratner at New Line.
The scribes, repped by Wma and Principal Entertainment, also have "The Haunting of Eastern Airlines" in development with producers Chuck Roven and Alex Gartner at Warner Bros.
Mrc has the Sacha Baron Cohen comedy "Bruno" out in July via Universal and Robert Rod¬riguez's "Shorts" hitting theaters in August through Warners.
