An engineer has been dismissed from employ of a chemical plant and broods about it for a long time until finally he decides to destroy both himself and the entire plant. His sister and brother-in- law have tried to nurture and counsel him but to no avail. The brother-in-law sees the engineer arming the car with explosives and calls the Highway Patrol. The guy has also put a "dead man's switch" on the steering wheel in case the cops decide to just shoot him. This is actually a pretty tense episode and interesting too that when caught, the engineer shows no regret over what he tried to do but only regret that he didn't succeed. This episode has a bit of dialog I've noticed in a few other episodes. Back in days before 911, for any emergency one often called the operator (super organized people had a list of emergency phone numbers by their phone). When the brother-in- law calls the operator he says: "Operator, it's an emergency, get me the Highway Patrol." People in an emergency are so much more likely to say "Get me the police!" Every time I hear a character say this, it rings false.
