PC Garfield and Quinnan are at a Fayre where semi pro boxer Mal Grant, an old mate of George's is doing a little promotion, Dave finds something questionable on him.
It's a very interesting story this, George is placed in an awkward position, loyalty to the job, and loyalty to an old mate. Was Quinnan out of order? Damn right he was, was George trying to do the right thing? Definitely.
It's nice that we get a bit of backstory about George, we haven't learned all that much about him thus far, other than he's in a little bit of debt. He always has a degree of integrity, even if I can't perhaps believe in him as a junior boxer.
A few notable performances here, the ever wonderful Roger Griffiths, comedy fans will recognise him from comedy series Chef, and of course there's a young Alex Walkenshaw, who would later appear as a regular.....
..... Hold on a second, the incredibly wonderful Jason Isaacs has just popped up as a Doctor, an inspiring bit of casting that was.
The story of Harry was pretty fun.
Very good, 8/10.
