After the fire which placed Ron Smollett in immense danger, CID pull out all the stops to find out who caused it, and why.
Two part stories are always very watchable, we were given a dramatic conclusion to the previous episode, and were promised something pretty dramatic here, it was good, it wasn't great, it just never seemed to spark to life.
We get some answers, we of course learn who, but it's perhaps a little disappointing that we don't get more of a why in the solution.
Once again the character of Ron Smollett continues to improve out of sight, he's very good once again.
