An angered off license manager calls for the help of Mike and Gary, when he believes a man with a garage is seeing duty free alcohol. Dave and Polly attend a noise disturbance, and find a group of house sitting school kids.
I liked this one, we've had some very heavy, serious episodes in recent times, this one has a very different vibe.
Trips to France were commonplace, people travelling back and forth with vans full of cigarettes and alcohol.
The Man running The Offy, Mr Stafford, was spot on, The Supermarkets have very much been responsible for the closures of many small business, including a shed load of Off Licenses. Who doesn't miss the choice and smells of places like Threshers.
I enjoyed this, a really good story, it felt very different to most of the recent episodes, 8/10.
