Two young black lads are stopped and taken to Sun Hill Station, arrested and believed to be connected with a heinous crime, an elderly man, killed in his home and robbed. The pair decide to offer their right to silence.
This was terrific, a cracking, gritty episode, with masses of needle. The whole no comment issue is designed to drive you wild as a viewer, and designed to show the frustrations felt by The Police. From what was presented here, you know the pair were guilty, with one perhaps led by the other. So many good aspects to highlight, Jack's frustration, and subsequent clash with Conway among the highlights.
It's always nice to see Mike Grady in a serious role, alongside The Bill, I'm also watching Last of The Summer Wine, where he plays the soft hearted, fall guy Barry, a quite different role for him here.
Excellent, 9/10.
