AMIP are at Sun Hill working alongside Harry Haines, looking into the case of a woman found dead at a Derelict Factory.
It seems like ages since we last had a murder mystery on the show. A decent sized cast for this one, well written, it feels like a two horse race, you're given the impression early on that it has to be one of the two. It's a very good episode, I was a little surprised to see this being one of the lowest rated episodes of this series.
This actually feels like a throwback to an earlier series, the content is much heavier, the dialogue a little more intense, it feels distant from recent episodes, it's very good.
Good to see DS McInnes back, I really liked the character as brought to live by Teresa Banham, first seen back in 1992's Runaway, it's a shame she didn't become a regular, she was good.
Matthew Marsh plays Patrick Bridges well, he's a definite rogue, I can't decide which pattern is more hideous, the one on his sofa, or his shirt, what was he thinking.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, 9/10.
