A young man is recovering in Hospital after someone has attacked him, by spraying oven cleaner in his eyes, once again two different teams in the Station are investigating different parts of the same case.
A good episode, the best for some time I thought, it's gritty, well paced, and for a change sees a few interested parties working together.
Of all the new characters that have been introduced, Jo is definitely the best if them, yes Mary Jo Randle is a terrific actress, but she's also the most interesting, she's had a lot of screen time, to the expense of some maybe, such as Sergeant Kendall. Crowther is a talented actress, they just didn't develop the character very well.
