Anthony Bourdain has an amazing way with words. He talks very humbly and with great amazement when describing the food or the Japanese people.
The episode itself is very simple. He follows a sushi restaurant owner purchase fresh fish for the day, attends a sumo training house, and finishes with a hot pot meal. He often contrasts how it's different from either his French culinary style or against western food in general.
The camera work is terrible however. The shots are sometimes obscured by objects in the foreground or very shakey.
