- TriviaAfter Red's opening monologue, he introduces Peggy Lee, who performs "Just One of Those Things" and "Guess I'll Go Back Home (This Summer)" and who later sings "For You." The first sketch is titled, "The Tooth, The Whole Tooth, and Nothing But the Tooth" in which George's Appleby's wife nags him into going to the dentist for a painful tooth. Red performs a pantomime of a man eating ice cream in a movie theater as he reacts to the scenes on the screen. Guest dancer Earl Barton and the Redettes entertain with "You Do Something to Me." The second skit finds Freddie the Freeloader's shack invaded by an escaped moll, Two-Gun Nellie. This was the final show of this summer replacement series which substituted for the Arthur Godfrey Show.
