[first lines]
Felicity 'Fliss' Sidebotham : Yuck! Spiderweb!
[narrating]
Felicity 'Fliss' Sidebotham : Ever notice how even though spiderwebs are really sticky, spiders never get stuck in them, only their prey? Spiders are smarter than they look. Smarter than some people I know.
[phone rings]
Felicity 'Fliss' Sidebotham : Sorry, I've been expecting it.
[answers her phone]
Felicity 'Fliss' Sidebotham : Yes, Mom? Shouldn't be that much longer. There's a little more cleaning up than expected.
[continues narrating]
Felicity 'Fliss' Sidebotham : Of course, none of this would've happened if Lyndz's mobile had been working.
[cut to Lyndz angrily berating Michael]
Lydnsey 'Lyndz' Collins : I waited for three hours at the mall while everybody else was at Rosie's house! And how did they know to meet there?
Michael Collins : They're psychic?
Lydnsey 'Lyndz' Collins : No. They have mobile phones that haven't been cut off! Apparently, my mobile has run up a bill the size of Fliss' annual haircut budget!
Michael Collins : That can happen if you don't keep a tight control on the number of calls you make!
Lydnsey 'Lyndz' Collins : I'm not the one out of control here! This is a result of you and your friends' obsession with those dumb phone-in competitions!
Michael Collins : It wasn't an obsession!
Lydnsey 'Lyndz' Collins : How many did you enter?
Michael Collins : 30 or 40.
Lydnsey 'Lyndz' Collins : A week?
Michael Collins : Well, you can win prizes.
[rewind to Mr. Collins and Michael]
Mr. Collins : 30 calls to one radio station?
Michael Collins : You could win an Elvis Presley costume.
[cut back to Lyndz and Michael]
Michael Collins : Having your own Elvis gear would've been huge.
Lydnsey 'Lyndz' Collins : The only huge thing was the size of the bill you three ran up! Dad's taken your phone off you, so you've been using mine!
Michael Collins : There you go blaming me! You have no proof!
Lydnsey 'Lyndz' Collins : I don't need any! You're an M&M! That's proof enough!
