Buster Crabbe joins Steve for a sketch called "Ye Olde Space Cadette," a send-up of early children's television sci-fi serials; Georgia Gibbs sings "Tra La La" and Cole Porter's "Let's Do It"; actress Anita Ekberg and her husband, actor Anthony Steel, surprise Steve Allen with a lavish Swedish smorgasbord and Anita insists that the host gulp down a large glass of aquavit in traditional fashion; Ekberg and Allen perform a duet of "Tea for Two" in Swedish, accompanied by Skitch Henderson on the harpsichord; and Jerry Lewis makes a special appearance at end of the show to talk about his work with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and his (serious) singing career, discusses his new album called "Jerry Lewis Just Sings," and clowns around with Allen as they listen to a cut from the record.
