- Roy Geary: [to T-Bag as he wakes up] Did you get a nice nap? Visions of 12 year olds dancin' in your head?
- Lincoln Burrows: I, uh, I saw you checkin' out those girls back at the diner.
- LJ Burrows: What?
- Lincoln Burrows: Come on. 'Fess up.
- LJ Burrows: Nah, I was just makin' sure that they weren't staring at us.
- Lincoln Burrows: With what, their asses?
- Michael Scofield: What about Oscar Shales?
- Pam Mahone: Oscar Shales? Why is he important?
- Michael Scofield: Well, he's, ah... he's the only fugitive to ever successfully elude your ex husband.
- Pam Mahone: Alex was consumed with finding him. I mean, after what Shales did to all of his victims, who could blame him. It was all he worked on, all he did, for a year. But I don't think that it was the stress of chasing Shales that caused Alex to start behaving erratically.
- Michael Scofield: Why is that?
- Pam Mahone: Because Alex changed after the trail went cold. I remember it like it was yesterday. He just, walked into the kitchen, after 12 years of marriage, and said that he wanted me out of the house immediately. I'll never forget the date - it was June 15.
- [Michael remembers an article that reads "Shales Missing Since Mid-June"]
- Michael Scofield: I think I have everything I need.
- LJ Burrows: I'm not an idiot! I was on the run too, you know.
- Lincoln Burrows: Yeah, you were on the run. And you got caught.
- LJ Burrows: Yeah, well I'm sorry I'm not a pro at being a con like you, dad! Maybe I should have just left when you gave me the out, huh? It's not like you care.
- [L.J. makes to get out of the car; Lincoln pulls him back]
- Lincoln Burrows: Whoa. Take it easy. I'm sorry. Alright? I'm sorry man, I'm just...
- [sighs]
- Lincoln Burrows: Let's get out of here.
- Lincoln Burrows: I'm a target, kid. As long as you're with me, so are you. Things'll get a whole lot worse before they get better. Understand?
- LJ Burrows: But after we meet up with uncle Mike and get to Panama...
- Lincoln Burrows: Panama ain't a sure thing. Your uncle's plan is dangerous, I mean really dangerous.
- Brad Bellick: So this is where Theodore practiced "pervert knows best."
- [Geary laughs]
- Brad Bellick: This is where he had his family supper. And that, I believe, is where you and Miss Hollander expressed your love. Tell me little Teddy, did you make her wear Doctor Dentons and hold a lunch box? Help you get all worked up?
- Theodore 'T-Bag' Bagwell: Bradley, I couldn't expect a grown man who still lives with his mamma to understand the machinations of love.
- Pam Mahone: All I wanted was an explanation. Why things ended so suddenly. And all Alex could say was, sometimes things happen that are just out of your control.
