- TriviaAt about the 28:25 mark , Poppy is shown using a lethal looking letter opener. On the desk is a framed photograph of a little boy in a sailor suit. This is the same framed photo used in the opening credits of Keeping Up Appearances to represent Hyacinth's son, Sheridan.
- GoofsWhen Campion was looking through the telescope and a stranger's hand touched him on the shoulder, in the final cliffhanger scene of the previous episode, the weather was sunny and there were shadows. When the scene continued at the start of this episode, the weather was completely dull and overcast.
- Quotes
Rev. Philip Bathwick: [Objecting to Effie's viewing the corpse] She goes in there over my dead body!
Albert Campion: I think two dead bodies are quite enough for the time being.

The Case of the Late Pig: Part 2
Campion meets Mr Hayhoe, a man who snorts like a pig. A relation of Pig Harris who was buried in May. He claims to have important information.
Mr Hayhoe claims that the second man found dead with the geranium urn on his head, resembled Pig Harris and was also a relative.
Whippet keeps hanging about and acts like some kid of Mole.
Campion senses that the death of Pig Harris might be linked to an insurance scam, a scam where Pig Harris jilted his partners in crime.
However Campion places himself and Lugg in peril.
It was a nicely constructed mystery, not easy to work out the details although I can sense who the murderer was.
There is a look of disappointment in Campion's face when he finds out that his adventures has lead to people being paired up. Janet's crush on him remain short lived.
I just thought the first series of Campion never reached the heights. The pace was too leisurely although it had great production detail and art direction.
