After the catastrophic handling of the case which lead to Cathy being battered, the writing is on the wall for Johnson, she's keen to track down who's taken £60k worth of scotch.
A great episode, the quality of this series has been immense, it's another high quality episode, it's very gritty, and once again it's the cogs turning in the upper echelons that make it such a terrific watch.
Sally made a tremendous start, she arrived all guns blazing, and was set for a rise to the top, just like DCI Reid once did, only Sally's career hasn't quite gone to plan, too ambitious, too ruthless, meant to be the face of the future, but somehow it just didn't fit. At times she did feel like a woman in a man's world, just too keen. Bugs beckons.....
Sean Gilder and Ian Burfield are both great here.
One down, Cato next.
The end of a very short era, terrific, 9/10.
