Steve Loxton is placed in a perilous situation when he's forced to confront an aggressive man single handedly, the cause, a focus on response times by Chief Inspector Stritch.
It's a good episode, it goes for the shock factor treatment, and instead of going for someone meek and mild, it goes straight for fireworks, with Loxton.
Monroe is perhaps my favourite character on the show now, and here you see him in full flow, he's as hard as nails, and not afraid to make a point.
I did enjoy this, it raises two questions, first of all, would officers really have been placed in such a pressure cooker atmosphere, forced to make speed their focus. Secondly, where has Stritch been, he had a few good episodes when he started, he's been completely anonymous since then.
Very good, 8/10.
