Rough justice...
canndyman25 January 2021
Doyle is in trouble once again and in detention - this time with Miss Mather, when he accidentally damages a piece of artwork by his silly antics. Later, Miss Mather borrows two old flintlock pistols from an antique shop to use as props in her class for the children to copy. Feeling aggrieved, Doyle secretly steals one of them and makes off with it.

When that pistol is found to be missing, the headmaster threatens to cancel the school festival unless it's safely returned. Tucker suspects Doyle as being the culprit, but he denies it. It looks like a careful plan may need to be hatched to get the antique returned.

The bad feeling and rivalry between Doyle and Jenkins continues in the episode - and Tucker gets the perfect chance to put one over him. There's plenty of scraps and pushing around going on too - but most of it good humored, and not to mention some rough justice being metered out!

All in all, another good episode from this excellent first season, and a nice little moral message too.
