enters the emotion of the aging woman
evolvinangel8 October 2006
i believe ms bharoocha did an excellent job of transcending her own youth and entered the world of the aging grandmother with beauty and depth. you could feel the affection that the elderly couple had for one another, the need for independence in going out for a walk in nature...and how the very act of expressing independence created a risk of safety and security. it brought the old woman to the very edge of what is feared most in this population, confusion. ms bharoocha gives her "granny" the dignity and ability we all want a share of, and that is to find our way home, once again, safe, secure warm and loved. very well done.
