Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
Prismark1018 December 2020
Set about a month after the first one. The second episode introduces local gangster Harry Fenning, who is always surrounded by his goons.

Wolfie knows he needs to be respectable around him. Although once Harry's back is turned Wolfie shows bravado.

Wolfie is also busking outside Shirley's record store and someone dropped him a few pesetas. (For younger people, currency they used to have in Spain.) Now Wolfie needs to get rid off them.

Shirley has invited Wolfie to his parents for dinner. Dad makes kit clear that he does not like the long haired yeti. While Mum keeps calling him Foxy.

Wolfie does manage to get rid of the pesetas.

Another good episode with several funny moments. Harry asking for that nail Wolfie found in his pie to be put behind the bar. If no one claims it then it's Wolfie's.

Peter Vaughan mixes comedy with menace. Hilda Braid is delightful with her Foxy remarks. I wonder if that is why John Sullivan carried on with the idea in Only Fools and Horses where Trigger kept calling Rodney by the name of Dave.
