During a game of hide and seek inside the playhouse, SeeMore teaches Lottie, Barb, Penny, Harry, Shades, and Basil the importance of staying away from dangerous household items and appliances which could be hot, sharp, or poisonous. By the end of the show, we also learn that Basil is by far the best hide and seek player of them all!

The gang plans a surprise party for Lottie, who has just learned to swim. Everything goes as planned until Harry shows up and tries to help, with disastrous results. Will they get the party together in time for Lottie's arrival? And will Lottie show up to her own party? Everyone learns to be careful around sharp things in the house, as well as a lesson about forgiveness.

Throughout this wacky episode, SeeMore attempts to eat his lunch in the playhouse, but each time he tries to take a bite of his sandwich, Penny, Barb, or Lottie barge in asking for help crossing the street! The girls insist they have to cross the street in order to collect pretty leaves in the park, shells at the beach, and colored markers that the wind blew into the street. SeeMore is happy to help, until he is interrupted so many times that he's starving! SeeMore is just about to lose his patience, when, just in the knick of time, Barb, Lottie, and Penny present him with the surprise they've been working on all day: a beautiful picture covered with all the pretty leaves from the park, shells from the beach, and designs with colored markers.

Basil, Shades, Lottie, and Penny beg SeeMore to take them to a new movie starring their favorite superhero, The Fantastic Squirrel. Enthralled by his heroic cinematic feats, they later pretend to be superheroes. They learn about car safety when SeeMore takes them to the movies and about how fun it is to make believe.

It is Basil Wombat's birthday and plans are underway for a surprise party at the playhouse. Basil loves fire trucks, so SeeMore has arranged to have a fire engine themed birthday party. The other characters struggle to keep the secret as they bake Basil's cake, prepare the decorations, and await the arrival of a real live firefighter.

It's a hot summer day at the playhouse and the gang is looking for something cool to do. As always, SeeMore knows just what will make a real splash with his friends- a pool party! Of course, before anyone can attend the party they'll first need the proper attire (life jackets), the proper protection (sunscreen), and the proper partner (adults). Before you know it, everybody is ready to take the plunge. Everybody, that is, except Harry, whose fear of the water kept him from ever learning to swim. Luckily, SeeMore and the gang are not about to leave their friend high and dry and with help from special guest Lifeguard Bob, soon Harry is taking to the water like a, well, hippo!

In this episode, which focuses on ecology and nature appreciation, SeeMore, Harry, Penny, and Lottie go on a nature walk near the playhouse. Though it take our gang longer to get ready to leave than the nature walk itself, through songs and silly mishaps, the characters and the viewers learn the importance of turning the sink off properly, turning off the lights when they are not in use, and respect for everything that grows. Perhaps most important of all, by the end of the show, we are very happy for Harry, as he managed to carry his granola bar wrapper throughout the nature walk and proudly puts it in the trashcan when they return to the playhouse.

The gang is excited because it's the day of the Sidewalk Scoot! Shades, however, needs a lesson in bike safety, with his reckless riding and belief that helmets aren't cool. Lottie, on the other hand, takes bike safety so seriously that she is afraid to ride her bike and needs a boost of self-confidence. Will they be able to help each other and join the rest of their friends for the big bike ride to the park?

The playhouse gang decides to form a band and learn Lottie's favorite song. Along the way, the trials and tribulations of practice, patience, and discipline prove to be difficult adversaries. Only with the help and understanding of each other can the band pull off their first big performance. Will the gift of music ever emerge?

It's Soccer Day at SeeMore's Playhouse and everyone is excited about learning how to play soccer. The gang is dressed in soccer uniforms and safety gear and the playhouse is decorated with posters of famous soccer teams and players. Coach, who will instruct them, is waiting at the playground for everyone to arrive. But before they go, excitement gets the better of Shades as he kicks the soccer ball out the window. Penny, who loves to chase balls, darts outside and nearly runs into the street, but SeeMore comes to the rescue. He retrieves the soccer ball and the gang learns a lesson about crossing the street safely.

The playhouse gang is excited to go to a new playground that has just opened up- until Penny arrives with a broken arm. It turns out she was a little too eager to get out on the new playground and she forgot to be safe. She's sad that now she can't play with everyone else, but SeeMore has an idea- Penny can come along and give the others safety tips! At the playground, Penny meets Harry, who wants to help Penny with dispensing safety tips, but he ends up giving the wrong advice. Penny and the rest of the gang warn him that his suggestions aren't safe, but he tries them out anyway and learns the hard way that his friends are right. In the end, Harry learns some important lessons about playground safety, and everyone, including Penny, has a good time.

SeeMore is delighted to learn that he has won the Lotto Vegetables Contest- the prize being one ton of vegetables! But after they are all delivered, SeeMore is overwhelmed and declares a vegetable emergency! Dr. Worthwhile is called in to visit the playground and teach the gang the many ways they can enjoy vegetables. Basil, who has been snacking on junk food all day, learns an important lesson about moderation and good nutrition.
