I know the general opinion towards the third season is not very positive due the radical change in art style, but to be completely honest, I kinda dig this more cartoonish art style, due the contrast between this type of "wholesome" aesthetic and the horror stories.
Also, because it somewhat reminds me of the only animated episode from the original series, "The Third Pig", which also contrasted a very cartoonish art style with a horror plot.
It also helps that in my country the third season got an awesome dub, so maybe that contributed to my very positive impression from it.
This was a good beginning for the third season, with a simple, but entertaining plot. A decent "horror for kids" type of story with a good lesson.
