Larger than life characters here.

Pensioners Alice and Len assist Alistair, who's chasing a man and woman who are stealing money by deception.

Thoroughly enjoyed this, it's all about judging a book by its cover, you think you know what's happening initially, but naturally there's more to it.

I absolutely loved the character of Len, he was a real breath of fresh air, initially you think he's a grumpy old man, out to pick on the local kids, but appearances can be deceptive, Keith Marsh puts in the most lovely performance, his little song is so funny, the look on Alistair's face, brilliant.

That scene where Len addresses the potential thief, wonderful.

Sometimes I really miss the 90's, I've said many times I thought life was generally so much better pre the technological revolution, everyone now is permanently mobile phone obsessed, however when you see Dave trying to set up the tech here, I'll take the modern stuff any day.

Loved it, 8/10.
