To prove his worth, PC Ashton takes it upon himself to get a search warrant from a Judge, unfortunately his attention to detail is lacking.
Definitely a procedural episode, but a good one, and even though they are guilty of pulling the rookie mistake card once again, it does work, it definitely helps the writer when the PC in question is new.
Poor Luke, always seems to have a slightly vacant look on his face, Scott Neal was well cast here. There's definitely something spiteful about Reg here once again, he's seen as a little vindictive once again, this isn't the first time.
A little inconsistency in the writing, here Like can't type, and yet recently he typed like a secretary.
Nicely acted, I'd have put money on Charmian May appearing on this show as a Judge at some point, she's scathing, fondly remembered for You're only young twice and Keeping up Appearances.
Very good, 8/10.
