This story is so touching! It shows the resilience of such a young girl. The family is poor and the sisters must take turns getting a new dress. When little Gloria gets her turn, her mom purchases a dress on credit for $5. Then Dad brings home a goat to provide fresh milk and cheese for his family, but unfortunately the goat eats Gloria's new dress. In her disgust for the goat, she refuses to drink it's milk. She rises above and returns to wearing her old tattered dress and holds her head high. The young actress portraying "Gloria" did an excellent job of acting. Her facial expressions were priceless. The Actors portraying the mom and dad were well cast. Great little film.
