The phenomena of spectral apparitions being photographed is the topic here, and whether or not it is a real occurrence, or either a misunderstanding of photographic processes, or an elaborate hoax. Several people are interviewed about this, and the debate is split. Some famous photographs are examined, from the fairy photos involving children in the woods, to a man who claims he can imprint mental images onto film, but whether viewer believes any of this is real will of course be up to them, since the controversy goes on, though new digital technology has certainly made this topic more complicated. Interesting episode, if not particularly eerie like its predecessors.

In Search Of... "Ghosts in Photography" (1981)

The third episode from season six is a pretty good one as we take a look at ghosts that have been captured in photos. We take a look at several examples where unknown features turn up in photos and we also learn about one man who claimed to be able to use his mind to put images on film. This episode takes a look at several different subjects but for the most part it's entertaining. I thought the stuff dealing with the trick photography was rather interesting but so were some of the actual photographs that many experts believe to be real. Fans of such subjects should enjoy this episode.

Episode: B+
