Marvelous episode takes a most charming and interesting look at Coral Castle in Florida, which is an astonishing collection of solid stone rocks made into an impressive looking architectural wonder. The man behind it, a Latvian immigrant named Edward Leedskalnin, was a frail and mysterious recluse who was befriended by a local landowner and given a parcel of "worthless" land which he in turn used as the foundation for his castle, which weighed many tons, yet Eddie could somehow lift them up without the need of advanced equipment. He often spoke of his sweet sixteen, a lost love he was making this all for, though no one ever learned who she was, even after his death. An endearing and fascinating entry is among the series' best. Not to be missed.

How did Edward Leedskalnin build Corral Castle? The Castle secrets shows a man 5-6 and a 120 build a Castle which weighs tons! In Search has interviews with witnesses! Footage of the Castle. Theories of Edward Leedskalnin research on magnetism! A example of how heavy rock can not be lifted. In search dives deep into whatever Edward Leedskalnin wrote in Magnetic journal can not be understood. The Castle of Secrets is such an unbelievable story! Unless the viewers see what was built I would call the story hog wash! A true mystery! 9 out of 10 stars.

In Search Of... "Castle of Secrets" (1980)
Ed Leedskalnin is the subject of this episode, which takes a look at how he single handed build Coral Castle, which is one of the biggest mysteries of the world. This castle is still a tourist attraction and this episode takes a look at how Ed possibly built such a castle without any help and without current technology. Several theories are given and we also learn about a few other secrets the man had when he died. This is certainly the best episode of season five or at least up to this point. This here was really a saving grace for the season after a number of weak episodes. The story of the castle itself is very interesting but so is the man himself and how he carried on with people.
