Very interesting, I like how time has elapsed, and we pick up with our small community surviving, keeping the enemy at bay. Sadly though, all walls eventually fall down....
Plenty of terror, with the creation of a genuinely bleak future. I thought the shots of an abandoned London, and BT Tower looked so wonderfully eerie. The ending may seem ambiguous to some, but I was happy with it.
I like how we jumped forward a little in time, a great job was made to get everyone looking a little older, and a little bedraggled. Duttine had definitely gained a lot more foliage of his own.
This remains the best adaptation of it, The BBC would remake it, unfortunately it's poor remake.
