A very good episode and one of the most shocking endings.
Only four actors appear-Jonathan Frid, Grayson Hall, David Selby and Nancy Barrett, but they are among my favorites. They play their usual characters except for Barrett who plays Charity, still possessed by Pansy.

Julia is told by Barnabas about Kitty and how he believes she is the reincarnation of Josette. This is the same plot when he first saw Maggie Evans years ago.
Quentin talks to Charity/Pansy and they discuss Carl, he was once engaged to Pansy and she still remembers him. She also knows Barnabas the vampire killed him.
Quentin goes to Barnabas' coffin in the cave, bringing a hammer and stake but is unable to kill him. However Charity/Pansy later arrives and she does pound the stake into Barnabas.
