Is Jeb scared of a shadow of 'Stretch Armstrong' ?

Warning: Spoilers
If I thought that the silly paper bats (that any child would laugh at) were bad enough, this recent 'scary shadow of a Stretch Armstrong doll' scare tactic falls flat very quickly indeed. I love this show but come on already! This was a successful tv show that actually earned money when money was still worth something. They had the resources of an entire CBS tv studio,so it should have been easy for them to do much-better special effects or at least have SOMEONE,anyone do it for them! These special effects here are pretty sad,and there is no legitimate reason for them not being much better.

*Later note:* I recently saw a rerun of a 1967 Ed Sullivan tv show with 'the Muppets' in a very brief skit. There were magic tricks/special effects that were very good,I mean 100x better than the paper bats or 'shadow of a stretch-armstrong doll' seen on Dark Shadows. Ed Sullivan was on live tv,to boot! So now I can say without a doubt that there were much better special effects available at the time they made Dark Shadows, and these special effects were used on live tv in the very same Ed Sullivan CBS building that they filmed Dark Shadows show in ! So I charge the producers or whoever with extreme laziness and dereliction of duty for these very sad and sorry paper bats and paper doll special effects in Dark Shadows ! There were much much better special effects available in the same building just for the asking but they were too lazy to ask. For shame !
