Just try to out-fox a fox.

While Disney made many of these 40+ minute mini-movies to be included in their movie theater packages, this one seems to have been made to premiere on TV. It focuses on Domino, the silver fox outwitting human capture and doggie dinner, frustrating to both man and canine as he continuely escapes capture. The fox can spring a trap, sensing that it's there, and can outrun the hound dog, hide from a bobcat, and prevent from being stomped by a vindictive deer, putting to rest their presumably peaceful nature. But a mouse can climb a tree to avoid being the fox's meal, and of course, a squirrel has their own way of saving its life.

But Domino prevails, and when he encounters a female red fox, it leads to battle with a rival male red fox, and it's obvious whose side the narrator is on by declaring the winner. The dance of the silver and red fox is hardly a fox trot, but quite amusing. This is more enjoyable sans human involvement as the beauty of nature is much more enjoyable than the callous nature of mankind. An attractive film that kids and adults can enjoy equally, especially the sight of three kits born to Domino and his new spouse and the aftermath of how fast they grow up.
