Covenant for Quiet Enjoyment
Prismark107 September 2022
Harriet is battling on three fronts.

There is the matter of the criminal appeal regarding the son of the chamber's barristers clerk Bill.

Harriet gets leave to appeal but she needs to break down Major Stannard down in coat. Some of the evidence Bill supplied was obtained by dubious means.

Harriet also picks up a case at the newly opened law centre. A young couple are being harassed by their landlord due to the woman being pregnant.

Can a covenant for quiet enjoyment come to the couples aid.

Finally the relationship with Dr Stone has hit the buffers. He is unhappy that Harriet has missed the Lisbon flight. A young probation officer has also taken a shine to Dr Stone.

The episode is a tad dry as it has to explain legal concepts. There is a nice side story as to how much Harriet's pupil has to burn the midnight oil.

In the end Bill finds himself having to pay a potential high price regarding evidence that was a breach of official secrets.
