Hilary Nash sold off her flower shops. The new owner is not making the expected profits.
Her lawyer thinks that Hilary has inflated her accounts and she is at risk of being sued.
David Main follows her to Amsterdam where she is having a mini break. She has stuck a friendship with a strange young British man called Tony.
David is none too pleased to see Tony hanging about and that Hilary might be running away from her legal problems.
When Tony is later found dead, David Main becomes a suspect and is wanted by the police. He was seen having an argument with Tony.
This was a weak episode. It really went nowhere as it had little plot. It was just a lot of talking.
The overinflated books plot was silly and easily resolved. As investigator Clegg noted, the new owner was just taking money out of the till. I was wondering how the new owner was going to prove the loss at court and her solicitor was ever so keen to take legal action.
As for young Tony. It's Amsterdam so I guess drugs were bound to be involved.
It just seemed that the production team wanted a little jolly in Amsterdam and probably had a few spliffs themselves looking at the result.
