Not on general release yet but I saw it in Manchester in December at a preview screening. It was remarkably enjoyable. It takes you back to the great family orientated films of the 60's and 70's. Beautiful locations and endearing characters. The leads are all played by youngsters (I imagine in mid teens) and they carry the story well. It is great to see Todd Carty (Tucker, Eastenders and The Bill) playing a sinister maverick. His performance is a real highlight. The story takes you on a rollicking journey in the hunt for lost treasure. Though shot on a very small budget it has some really classy scenes more akin to big Hollywood budgets. I recommend it to anyone that wants to be entertained without violence. Just sit back with the kids and enjoy. Lovely.
