Maguire is on the hunt for a man known as Maxon, who's just shot and killed an Italian man. Maguire is sent to Paris to hand Maxon over to The Authorities.
I bet they're still asking if Maguire knows Maxon, he really had no idea who that guy was.
The London set Dial 999 is given an international flavour here, well sort of, but a bit of old stock footage, a few French signs, and the odd 'monsieur,' don't convince anyone that We're in France, its as French as roast beef, Yorkshire puddings and gravy.
I've rather enjoyed this show, but this episode was just awful, it was truly terrible. It feels like a rehearsal for a stage play, I don't recall any of the earlier episodes feeling this bad.
'The old gun under the sleeve trick,' what were they thinking.
I could watch Olaf Pooley in anything, and I will forever be a fan for one reason, his twisted character, Professor Stahlmam in Doctor Who's Inferno, so, I can happily forgive him a dud here.
3/10.
