This 128-minute film profiles the exploits of the heroes of Tulare, California, who are featured at the Tulare Historical Museum, including two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Bob Mathias. The film includes the last interview given by the late former athlete, actor, and U.S. Congressman. It also details Tulares B-17 monument "Preston's Pride," which is dedicated to Gen. Maurice Preston, a Tulare native who became a Four-Star General, and his 379th Bomb Group, who in 1945, won the "Grand Slam Award," for its outstanding achievements in WWII. Many local WWII Veterans, including Manuel Toledo, are interviewed.
