The first expansion pack to actually be addictive even after a month
sashank_kini-123 September 2008
This is the first expansion that made me play it even after a month, due to its addictiveness and creativity. I had brought university a year before and I sort of regret to purchase it as after a few days, the magic went and it wasn't enchanting anymore.

The only thing that probably was good in University was the Lifetime aspiration. life at university was hectic and dull. It was like job which irked me as I was studying, toiling hard (my sim) so that I graduate with flying colors. In fact, if it wasn't for the lifetime aspiration, I'd have deleted it. The influence meter too didn't help much and was probably unnecessary and silly.

Nightlife actually made me send my sims to downtown many times. The dating system was really cool and fun. There were so many areas in downtown that were made after meticulous thinking. Each area had at least something different and it was a welcome change from the usual gardens in the core game.

The most surprising thing was that I actually didn't care about the five minutes or so that went de to the loading. The prospect of owing cars is really great and required as it takes much lesser time to travel. The only thing that bothered me was that there were no beds in some of the outer areas as the moment the energy meter fell, you'd have to go back home. The makers of the game have innovative minds to actually think of having Vampires and giving them such a significant role in the game.

Nigtlife is one of the better packs that can keep you hooked on for a long time.
