The Church visit has not gone to plan, Flora has put money into the collection, and taken change out, and even read her True Romances during the service, much to the annoyance of Dolly and Mildred, even Dolly's hit the wincarnis.
Cissie's had tea with the Vicar's wife, and she's let slip that she doesn't like Flora after she slapped the Bishop's wrist. The Vicar's wife has been smirking at Flora and talked Miss Milton (head of the spring Fayre) into banning Flora from the Spring Fayre.
A calculating Flora catches a small flirtation between Miss Milton and Roger, and Flora blackmails her into giving up the Tea stall, prized task of the Vicar's wife. Flora and Cissie resort to underhanded tactics in order to get free cakes as they fleece the local teashops. The Fayre is a success, Dolly's won a bottle of sherry, and Flora's won a prize, but where's the ticket?
Some great one liners in this episode and Lally Bowers puts in a cracking performance as a drunken Dolly. The fashions are fun, Finchy looks great in her mini dress, and Roger's tie I'd love to get hold of, it's brilliant. 8/10
