Don't know who is responsible for making this the most ridiculous. The writers , the editors , the director .

In any case , they did put too much into this , in such a sense that they jump from one scene to another and it seems that a lot was cut just to make it fit within a time-frame.

Sam pulling someone out of an airplane and the next shot is from her in the Montecito as if nothing special happened. Really ?

This is bad for ending a season.

This show is colorful entertaining one, being like the best of the 1980s's TV; which's something so rare in the dark unfortunate 2000s apart. So, when I see ALL OF THIS NONSENSE happening for a show I love, then I must at least scream!

This episode made me in rage. Everything was between forced and absurd. Let's review the awful situation. There are many storylines: kidnapping Sam, Ed's problem with his wife, Mary's attempt to kill her father, Delinda is pregnant, and this soldier who wants to not return to Iraq again. 5 parallel lines. These are sad storylines before being a jam already. So how about totally STRANGE third act too; where Danny volunteers to fight in Iraq (?!), Mary's father got killed with 3 suspects of the main cast, an armed robbery, over and above a sudden "bomb" that explodes the Montecito??!! I hear someone shouting BUNKUM. I hope it's not me only!

I know that the intention was making a thrilling cliffhanger for the season, but that was too much and too fabricated. The "bomb" explodes the Montecito in the same time that Delinda, the pregnant, is standing in front of the exploder?? Ed is holding his gun towards Mary's father?? Sam is hitting the suitcase and nobody notices?? The hotel's camera can record the *Thermo* image of the bags?? (Maybe this is the tenth generation!). If I have ever written that back in my days as a student in the Egyptian high cinema institute, I powerfully think that my professor would have killed me, because with all of these coincidences, twists, and concoction--this is what dumb writing is all about!

Actually, there are more reasons to bother; Nikki Cox turned into a monster with so big and ugly lips; it's whether too many unsuccessful plastic surgeries, or too many plastic surgeries anyway! James Caan looks confused or sick. Josh Duhamel is trying his best to put the right feelings on his face, but what about a wrong stuff that was handed over him, so he settled for being serious and tense, while he was really clueless. And Molly Sims is always provocative as a character and performance!

There was a character of an American soldier that discovers the fact of the American war in Iraq as pointless, referring to the tragedy of so many young Americans, who fight and die without any noble purpose, to a degree which made him suicidal. This significant truthful character was treated foolishly, transforming from bitter commentary into some caricature, being here just to serve the lousy writing's goal which's having a big BOOM to end the episode with!

While this is supposed to be a hot and decent season's cliffhanger, IT ISN'T. It's the desperate try to achieve that hastily (even "Heroes" is a hasty title!). It's clear that some matters were happening under the surface, with a season ending in the 17th episode. All in all, it is bad TV. And when it comes to a solid show like this, then it's so bad!
