Really Different

This is a fantastic series that I've been watching on Discovery for the last couple of weeks about a guy (Simon Woodhouse) who's renovating a fishing trawler and sailing it to France to open it as a floating restaurant in Paris. OK it's got all the usual jeopardy, over egged a bit - but it's really well made and looks fantastic rather than a lot of other badly shot programs I have seen on this channel.

What I really like about it is that its a real cooking series where we get to see real cooking rather than things made up in a studio which is getting really boring. Simon is also an ingenious cook using things around him to make whatever he pleases, mostly improvising and great fun to see him getting away with it in France where they are all so snobby about food.

I've got to Episode 8 so far where he is just about to get to Paris before setting up the restaurant and I really don't know how he's going to do it, because the boat looks pretty simple.

This is really well made - great English TV - I hope it gets to the U.S - it should win awards!!!

Watch it if you can!!!
